Scams to watch for (add any you see)

The ones we expect to see: - Anyone contacting you out of the blue to pay listmydata. We never call, text or email asking for money. The only time you pay is right after you create a posting yourself, on listmydata.com. - "Pay a verification fee" or "listing upgrade" to reach a buyer. Real buyers pay you, not the other way around. - Fake escrow sites sent as a link. Always type the escrow company's address yourself. - A "big company" buyer writing from a personal Gmail or Yahoo address. - Someone asking for the full data "to evaluate it" before anything is signed. - Overpayment: they send too much and ask you to refund the difference. Seen something suspicious? Describe it here (no names or phone numbers of real people), and use the "flag this posting" link on the listing.
