What is company data worth? An honest answer

posted by: listmydata team

Nobody publishes a price list yet. Deals are private and the market is new, so be careful with anyone who quotes a number before seeing what you have. One broker's website says company data "could be worth $20K-$5M"; treat ranges like that as advertising until you hold a real written offer. What buyers say they pay more for: - Many years of records from one business - Records of real work start to finish: the request, the back-and-forth, the result - Specialized fields: accounting, labs, chemistry, engineering, semiconductors, trades - Organized files with customer names already removed - Exclusive rights (you sell to one buyer only), though non-exclusive lets you sell more than once If you've sold data, or received a real offer, please share the rough type of records and the price range here. That's how everyone learns what's fair.
